A National Level Technical Symposium was held on 28th September 2016. Ms Aabitha Janab, a final year Information Technology student welcomed the gathering. Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff, the Principal of the College delivered the presidential address. Mr. P. Ajay Pradeep, a final year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student introduced the chief guest to the audience.
Mr. S. Rajapandian, Deputy GM, IPRC, Mahendragiri was the chief guest. He released the Souvenir and it was received by the dignitaries. His speech centered on the role of automation in various fields. Further he encouraged the students to improve their learning methodologies by four different ways namely structured learning, adaptive learning, rationalistic learning and analytic learning.
Prof. S. Abubucker, the Correspondent of the College felicitated the students. The technical sessions were chaired by Prof. R.Suja, Prof.P. Eugine Paul, Prof.T.M. Babi Mol, Prof. C. Rekha, Prof. I Jafar Ali and Dr. M. Nivas. Nearly 100 participants from various colleges participated in the Technical Symposium and 82 students presented papers on different topics.
Many competitions were held for the students and prizes were distributed to the winners. Ms. Ahamed Banu, a final year Electronics and Communication Engineering student proposed vote of thanks.
