A National Level Workshop on RF Active and Passive Circuit Design and Simetrix Tool was held on 19th and 20th December 2016 by the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of PET Engineering College, Vallioor. Ms. V. G. Sridevi, Assistant Professor welcomed the gathering.
Dr.N.Mohamed Sheriff, the Principal of the College inaugurated the workshop and delivered the inaugural address. He motivated the students by saying that in addition to theoretical knowledge they must be proficient in the practical aspects which would enable them to get suitable job opportunities and to shine in their career. Mr.T. Jebas Paul Daniel, Senior Engineer of Microsemi India Pvt. Ltd. conducted the workshop for the students. It mainly focused on designing anti-aliasing filter which makes the signal suitable for baseband transmission and also on designing efficient Analog to Digital Circuits with high precision and accuracy.
Nearly 50 students from different Colleges of Tamilnadu including that of PET Engineering College attended the workshop. Mrs. C. Rekha, Assistant Professor of the Department proposed vote of thanks. Dr. P. Kannan, Head of the Department made necessary arrangements for the workshop.
