Welcome to PET

The 9^th International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering, Management and Applications (ICETEMA- 2K26) was held on 27M^th March 2026 at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. It was organized by CSE, ECE, EEE, MECH, MBA and MCA Departments. Miss. K. Yogalakshmi, I MCA welcomed the gathering. Dr. R. Kalaiselvi, HOD/MCA presented the preamble of the conference. Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, the Principal of the college delivered the presidential address. In his address he reiterated to consider the conference as a platform of knowledge sharing, igniting the young minds and enriching the students in the development. Ms.Muthamil Moniga of first year MCA introduced the chief guest to the audience.

The Chief Guest Dr. Ayyanathan Professor Hindustan Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary knowledge giving emphasis to cyber security, renewable energy, IOT and also insisted to formulate design thinking for the development of various fields especially agriculture. He focused on empowering farmers with digital learining. Key Note Speaker Dr. S. Arumuga Perumal Director, Riyasaa Labs & Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and Research, Crown University Inti charted inc., USA was the key note speaker for the conference. In his special address he remarked that technology is interconnected and gave an insight on the current trends in Engineering focusing on AI, and Business Intelligence.

The secretary highlighted on the different challenges a student has to face before attaining a successful career. He also focused on the importance of skill development, knowledge acquisition, internship and project development to attain the pinnacle of success. The proceedings of the conference was released by the principal and the first copy was received by the chief guest. The different technical sessions were chaired by the HoDs . The Managing Trustee Mr. S. Mohamed Farook, Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohaideen, Treasurer Mr. K. Mohamed Razak felicitated the gathering. More than 350 papers were received and nearly 60 participants including Professors, Research Scholars and PG Students from various colleges participated in the conference and presented papers.

The Principal distributed the certificates to the participants and presented the best paper award. Miss. K. Srinidhi of final year CSE proposed the vote of thanks.
