Carnival 23 a sports feat was conducted at PET Engineering College on 12/04/2023 for Polytechnic colleges in an around the District. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, PET Engineering College presided over the program. Students from various Polytechnic colleges participated in the events. The chief guest Mr. A.Sahul Hameed, Inspector of Police, Vallioor, the special guest of the day emphasized on the importance of sports. He encouraged students to actively involve in sports which enables to sharpen their mental agility and physical fitness. He also advised the students to deter from being addicted to social media. Events like kabaddi (Boys), Shuttle(Girls) and Quiz (Boys & Girls) were conducted. The students participated in the events with vigour and enthusiasm. The management team Managing trustee Mr. A Shahul Hameed, Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen, Treasurer Mr. S. M. Jamuldeen graced the occasion. The First place for Kabadi was won by SCAD Polytechnic College and Second place was won by PET Polytechnic. The first place and second place for shuttle & Quiz was won by PET Polytechnic college. The Physical Directors of the Institution conducted the event. The arrangements for the program was done by Mrs. C. Rekha, Head of the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mr. T. Mohammed Usman, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. |
