A Five day workshop on "HOW TO BECOME A SOFTWARE TESTER" was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Artificial Intelligence and Data Science on 11.03.2024 to 15.03.2024. The workshop was presented by the Resource person Mr. S. Haridev, Alumni (2011-2015) Batch, Senior Test Analyst, G10X INDIA PVT LTD, Kochin.
Ms. A. Rovisha Jeba, II/CSE welcomed the participants and Ms. Srinidhi. K, II/CSE introduced the Resource person Mr. S. Haridev to the audience. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the program and in his presidential address he highlighted about the successful career of one
of his student in Software Testing and strategies for staying updated to meet demands of the
industry trends.
Dr. S. Babu Renga Rajan Head of the Department of Computer Science gave an orientation on collaboration and communication between testers, developers, and other stakeholders. Mr. S. Samsudeen Shaffi, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science explained about Software Testing and Its opportunities to students.
The resource person gave an idea on how to create effective test plans, manage test cases, prioritize testing activities, and track defects. He provided students with hands-on experience through practical exercises and real-world case studies to reinforce learning and facilitate the application of testing concepts.
Ms. Srinidhi. K proposed the Vote of thanks. Mrs. B. Shanmuga Sundari and Mrs. D. Mary Nisha, carried out all the necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the program.
