The 78th Independence Day was celebrated at PET Engineering college on August 15, 2024. This year the theme of Independence Day "Viksit Bharat (Developed India) symbolized the Nations collective aspirations to elevate India to the status of a developed country by 2047, marking 100 years of Independence. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar the management trustee Mr. A. Shahul Hameed hoisted the national flag. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar delivered the Independence day address. In his address he advised the students to utilize their potential for the betterment of the nation. Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen, treasurer Mr. S. M. Jamaludeen, administrative officer Mr. Ahamed Basheer, PRO, A. O. Mr. Basheer Ahamed, the head of the departments and other faculty felicitated the gathering. The necessary arrangements for the program was done by the Physical director Mr. Savari Simon Chinnappa. This 78th Independence Day 2024 was a momentous occasion that inspired every citizen to contribute towards the dream of "Viksit Bharat'. |
