The Valedictory function of renewable energy club was conducted by the department of EEE and Mechanical Engineering on 27/2/2019 for Polytechnic and Engineering students. Ms. Serlin Sahaya Panista of 2nd year EEE delivered the welcome address. The Principal Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff presided over the function. Er. M. Rose Cyril Xavier, Assistant General Manager, BSNL, Nagercoil was the guest of the honour. In his address the chief guest emphasized that the world is under the command of engineers and 90% of the employment is generated throughout the world is from engineers. Further he motivated the students to nurture the skills like leadership, courage and confidence, decision making and communication skills to become successful employable engineers. Several competitions like mini project, Ad mad, Art presentation, Photography focusing on energy generation and plastic pollution were conducted. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Nadar Vivek Raja of II Mechanical. The program was co-ordinated by Prof. G. P. Rajesh of EEE department and Prof. J. Karthick of Mechanical department. |
