A online webinar was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on the topic "Insights on Industry 4.0" on 24/10/2020, Saturday 10.00 am to 12.00 noon using Google Meet as a platform. A total of fifty four participants registered for the webinar Mr. J. Abdullah M.E., CAE Specialist of Coimbatore CAD Solutions Pvt. Ltd., was the resource person. Dr. C. Ramesh Kannan, HOD, department of Mechanical Engineering delivered the welcome address and introduced the resource person. A PPT presentation with sketch was presented on the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies, towards the end of session there was an interactive session followed by the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. M. Poovaragan Assistant Professor, department of Mechanical engineering. |
