PET Engineering College, Vallioor. A one day workshop on Finite Element methods and applications was conducted by the department of Mechanical Engineering on 11/01/2019 for III year Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Mohideen Meera Sahib of III year Mechanical Engineering delivered the welcome address. Dr. S. Rajakumar, Head of the department, Mechanical Engineering, Anna University Regional Campus, Tirunelveli was the resource person. The Principal Dr. N. Mohammed Sheriff presided over the function. In his presidential address he emphasized on the importance of FEA. Further he motivated the students to do their projects in this highly lucrative area. The Resource person Dr. S. Rajakumar gave a demonstration with power point presentation on the current trends in FEA and its application. He also detailed on the software used for FEA. Mr. Raiza Mohammed Haja Hussain of III Mech. proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. M. Alwin Joe, HOD, Mechanical Engineering and Mr.S.Mohammed Peer Matharsha made necessary arrangement for the program. |
