The Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a seminar on Traffic Rules for the students on 25/03/2022. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the program. Mr. Poovaragan, Assistant Professor department of Mechanical Engineering welcomed the gathering. The guest lecture was delivered by resource person Mr. H. Lal Khan (Rtd. Army Officer). He elucidated on the traffic rules to be adopted by the public. He emphasized that speed and reckless driving are the major causes of accidents. Further, he said it is imperative that one should always think and drive and its better to avoid vehicles for short distances. The program was highly informative and beneficial to the students.
The Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. T. Raja Jeyaseelan, proposed the vote of thanks. Nearly 35 students participated in the seminar. The program was co-ordinator by Mr. M. Gopal Krishnan, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering.
