Webinar- 3 was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on the topic "Applications of Diffusion Bonding in Manufacturing" on 29/06/2020, Monday 11.00 am to 12.00 noon on the platform Cisco WebEX. A total of one hundred and twenty-seven participants registered for the webinar Dr. A. Murugan, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engg. & Tech., Puducherry was the resource person.
Mr. K. Antony Alex Raja, HOD MECH (i/c) delivered the welcome address. Mr. K. Kabin, AP/ MECH introduced the resource person. A power point presentation with sketches was presented on bonding pressure, Mechanical properties and interface hardness. Effect of bending temperature on shear and bending strength in a lucid manner. Dr. J. Mohamed Jahabar, Dean and Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, Principal, PETEC felicitated the programme. Towards the end of session there was an interactive session followed by the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. K. Ram Senthil Murugan, AP / Mech.
