A One day State Level Symposium IgniteX - '25 was conducted by department of Computer Applications on 18th March 2025. Dr. Kalaiselvi R, HOD, computer Applications welcomed the gathering. The Principal Dr. Madhan Kumar K presided over the event. The Principal in his presidential address reiterated to the students that fetching a degree is only a benchmark to enter into a career but knowledge has to be upgraded to attain the pinnacle of success. The Chief Guest Dr. K. Uma Samundesvari, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, NICHE Kumaracoil, Kanyakumari, in her address promoted the students to utilize to the maximum the platform like symposium which is a hub of activity to hone their skills.
Ms. Aruna Sri, First year student introduced the resource person to the audience. Several events like paper presentation, collage, memory contest, art from waste, think bot, debugging were conducted and the students showcased their intrinsic talents. More than 200 students from various colleges attended the program. The program proved to be an ideal platform for the students to exhibit not only their technical acumen but also their mental agility. Ms. Subashini, first year student proposed the vote of thanks.
