An online awareness program on "Competitive examination" was conducted by the Entrepreneurship Development cell of PET Engineering College. The resource person Mr. Vivenkandan Ragunathan, Co-founder, Masters Academy, Gate Educator, Unacademy, expounded on the multifarious jobs available for the engineering graduates both in private sectors, state government sectors and Central govt sectors. He also detailed on the nuances of appearing for GATE exam like the registration process, mode of exam, exam pattern, syllabus and the admission process. In addition to it he also illustrated on the different exams conducted by IIT.
The program was highly useful for all the career aspirants. An opportunity was provided exclusively for PET students to participate in the daily evening free classes for placement and govt jobs conducted by Unacademy More than four hundred students participated in this webinar. The program was co-ordinated by Mr. S.Mohammed Peer Matharsha, Training and Placement Officer and Mrs. I. Vallirathi, Assistant Professor of Computer Science Department.
