Department of First Year

The 22^nd Freshers’ Day was celebrated at PET Engineering College on 08.08.2019. Prof. S. Mookan, HOD Maths welcomed the gathering. Dr. N. Mohammed Sheriff, the Principal presided over the function. In his presidential address, he introduced the Head of the Departments and explained the infrastructure available in the college and its right utilization. He urged the students to meet the challenges of the Engineering industry by honing their skill and achieve excellence. He solicited the earnest co-operation of the parents to promote the students and fulfill their aspirations.

Prof. P. O. J. Lebba, Chairman of the college was the Chief Guest. In his special address, he said that Engineers play an important role in nation building. He emphasized that Engineering is the best profession and any competitive degree holder has got good prospects. He reiterated that only hard work and perseverance is the only solution to success. The Managing trustee Mr. N. Haja Mohideen felicitated the gathering. The Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen and the Treasurer Mr. S. M. Jamaludeen graced the function. Prof. S. Arumugam Pillai, HOD Physics proposed the vote of thanks and made necessary arrangements for the function.
