A five day workshop was conducted by R&D cell of ECE department at PET Engineering College on the topic "RECENT TRENDS IN DESIGN OF ANTENNA & MICROWAVE SYSTEM" from 22/08/2022 to 26/08/2022. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the session and delivered the inaugural address. This workshop was conducted for final year ECE and I year ME (Communication System) students. Ms. G. Anto Rithi Roy delivered the welcome address. The program started with the introduction on basics of high frequency design inference. Each day the students were trained with new concept of RF design. The Resource persons were Mrs. C. Rekha, HOD/ECE, Mrs. X. M. Binisha, AP/ECE and Mrs. J. Jenisha AP/ECE.
During the session High Frequency systems design and simulation in CST software were also dealt with. A hands on session was given on 26/08/2022. In this hands on session, students developed their own new projects in antenna design. Certificates were distributed to all participants during the valedictory session (26//08/2022) of workshop. A. Jeba Oflia proposed the vote of thanks, Mrs. C. Rekha, HOD/ECE and Mrs. X. M. Binisha, AP/ECE coordinated the workshop.
