A one-day webinar was conducted by Department of ECE 08.01.2021 at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. The Program was conducted in the virtual mode. It was truly a pleasure to have Mr. K. R. Jaya Kannan, (Alumni-2019 Passed out), Junior Programmer, Hard n soft Technologies, Chennai, who tirelessly guided the students throughout the day. Mrs. C. Rekha, HOD Department of ECE presided over the program and Mrs. S. I. Padma, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE was the Coordinator of the program.
Ms. S. Harini, III year ECE delivered welcome address. The Resource Person gave a key note address and then started a session, in which she explained all the basics in Web development and its applications.
In this workshop students acknowledged a complete knowledge of Web Technology Web technology refers to the means by which computers communicate with each other using markup languages and multimedia packages.
It gives us a way to interact with hosted information, like websites. Web technology involves the use of hypertext markup language (HTML) and cascading style sheets (CSS), XML, PHP and many more. Bootstrap is the most popular HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework for developing responsive, mobile-first web sites. 22 students of third ECE and 3 faculties of ECE department had attended the program.
