Department of Master of Computer Applications

A one day state level symposium MESKAA 2K20 was conducted by the Department of Master of Computer Applications on 29/01/2020. Dr. A. Kalaiselvi, HOD of MCA Department delivered the welcome address. The Vice - Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the function. In his presidential address, he insisted that Time and Tide waits for no man and it is the duty of every student to utilize his time fruitfully. Further, he also remarked that a person's attitude decides his altitude and should work tirelessly to grab all the opportunities that comes in his way.

Mrs. P. Anandavalli, second year MCA student introduced the Chief guest to the audience. Dr. P. Jeyan, HOD Department of Software Engineering, Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education was the chief guest for the programme. The Chief guest highlighted on the nuances and technological advancement in computer industry. He also touched upon the recent technologies where innovative projects can be done in both government and private sectors. 54 students of MCA department of our college participated in the program

Several competitions like Memory Contest, Vegetable Carving, staging, quiz, Art from Waste, Ad-Mad were conducted for the students of various Arts and Science College in and around the state. The forum proved to be a platform to exhibit the talents of the young technocrats. More than 150 Students participated in the Symposium.

In the valedictory session, prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners. The overall shield was bagged by Govindammal College of Arts and Science, Tiruchendur. Miss. M. Lingeswari III MCA delivered the vote of thanks.
