A Five Day virtual mode workshop was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Master of Computer Applications from 27.09.2021 to 01.10.2021 on the topic Big Data Analytics and its Tools. Dr. A. Kalai Selvi, HOD/MCA delivered the welcome address. Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the function. Dr. K. Ramesh, Assistant Professor & Head of the Department, MCA., AURCT and Mrs. Vinolia Anandan, Assistant Professor of Master of Computer Applications Department, Regional Campus, Anna University Tirunelveli were the Resource Persons. The workshop focused on the various topics related to 'Big Data Analytics and its Tools'. The students were highly benefitted through the demonstrations, elucidation, video presentations and hands on sessions conducted during the workshop. Altogether 32 student from Computer Science and Engineering students and 24 students of Master of Computer Applications registered and participated from the workshop and got benefited.
In the valedictory session feedback was collected from the students and the participants were provided e-Certificates. Dr. S. Babu Renga Rajan, Professor and Head, department of Computer Science and Engineering proposed the vote of thanks. The workshop was organized with the co-ordination of the faculty members of Computer Science Department and Department of Master of Computer Applications.
