The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science celebrated World Entrepreneurship Day on 21st August 2025 under the leadership of our Principal, Dr. K. Madhan Kumar. The event began with a welcome address by Ms. Shanaaz Fathima, Final Year AI&DS student, followed by two competitions – Idea to Logo and Startup Advertisement – where students showcased their entrepreneurial creativity through innovative business ideas, unique company logos, and digital promotional ads in video format.
The competitions aimed to foster startup thinking, promoting skills, and digital marketing abilities among students, and were evaluated by a panel of judges including Dr. T.M. Mohamed Usman (HOD/Civil), Dr. R. Kalaiselvi (HOD/MCA), Mrs. D. Mary Nisha (AP/CSE), and Mrs. V. Vijaya Ramya (AP/MBA). In the Idea to Logo contest, Ms. S. Fathima Hafnaa (IV Year) secured first prize, followed by Ms. M. Namitha (IV Year) and Ms. V. Nithya (II Year), while in the Startup Ad competition, Mr. M. Muthu Kumaran & Mr. S. H. Shameen (III Year) won first prize, Mr. M. Niranjan & Mr. T. Ahammed Bilaal (III Year) secured second prize, and Ms. N. Namitha & Ms. K. G. Shehnaaz Fathima (Final Year) received third prize.
Winners were honored with shields and certificates, and all participants were appreciated with certificates of participation. The event was enriched by motivational words from Dr. T.M. Mohamed Usman, IIC Coordinator, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Thanya, HOD/AI & DS. The program was successfully coordinated by Mrs. G. Prapha, Mrs. J. Pani Regis Livina, and the faculty members of the AI & DS department.
