The valedictory function of Renewable Energy Club was organised by the Mechanical and Civil Engineering Departments of PET Engineering College, Vallioor on 9th April 2018. M. Keerthi Sudar, a second year Mechanical Engineering student delivered the welcome address. Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff, the Principal of the College delivered the presidential address. He stressed the importance of energy conservation and said that being the members of REC they should practice it in their day to day life. D. Sugan Thivagar, a third year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student introduced the chief guest to the students. Dr. M. Kathirvel, Principal of PSN Institute of Technology and Science, Tirunelveli the chief guest for the function. He said that the students should take all possible measures to control pollution. Many competitions were conducted and prizes and certificates were given to the students. Altogether 95 students from EEE and MECH department participated in the event
