The 55th Engineer’s Day was celebrated in grandeur at PET Engineering College by the Department of Electrical and Electronics on 15.09.2022. The program was presided over by the Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar. In his presidential address he highlighted on the significance of Engineer's day. He pointed out that Engineers create the world and execute the world. Several events like elocution, verse writing, mime and connexion were conducted and students participated with zeal and zest. Special speeches on the role and responsibility of Engineers were given by S. Rajesh of ECE and Kildus of II Year EEE.
The first prize for English Elocution was won by S. Rajesh of II, ECE and the II prize was won by M. Mukundthan of Final year CSE and for verse writing the first prize was bagged by Sahaya Jemi Priya of II ECE and Tharik Alameen of final year ECE. In the Valedictory function prizes were given to winners and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. R.Kalaiselvi / HOD of EEE. The program was co-ordinated by Mrs. N. Ramani AP/EEE and Mrs. S. Soundrambika AP/EEE.
