Event Report


A National Level Technical Symposium C-Electra was organized by the departments of CSE, ECE and EEE in association with the Institution of Engineers INDIA) at PET Engineering College, Vallioor on 28/09/2021. Ms. Anto Rithi Roy G, Department of final year ECE, welcomed the gathering. Ms. S. S. Mohamed Lamees Umama, Final year CSE gave a brief introduction about C- Electra. Mr. A. Abdul Athif III year EEE introduced the chief guest to the audience. Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, in his presidential address, highlighted on the technological achievements made by the country. He made a special mention of the increasing number of innovations. He reiterated on the very objective of this symposium which is to ignite and refresh the young minds.

The Managing trustee Mr. A. Shahul Hameed, The Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen, Treasurer Mr. S. M.Jamaludeen felicitated the gathering. The secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen instructed the students to be inquisitive and update one’s technical knowledge. He also directed the students to imbibe moral values along with their professional development. The Chief guest Er. V. Velmurugan, senior lead Engineer, Chip Test Engineering Private Limited, Chennai in his address elucidated on the interlink of electrical, electronics and computer science in chip industry. He also said that every individual should have an urge and spirit to learn and explore which would help him to attain success. The resource person received the first copy of the proceedings.

Several contests like paper presentation, best manager, circuit, and decoding, photography contest and other competitions were held. Altogether 185 students from various Institutions participated in the Symposium. The winners and runners of several contests were given prizes and certificates. Ms. G. Siva Shankari of II year, CSE Department proposed vote of thanks. Professor Mrs. B. Shanmugasundari department of CSE, Professor Mrs. S. I. Padma, department of ECE, Professor Mr. P. Eugine Paul department of EEE co-ordinated the program.
