A Webinar on Seaweed to Biofuel-A Novel Approach was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, PET Engineering College in Vallioor on 30th November 2020. Webinar was presented by the Resource Person Dr. K. Tamilarasan, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R & D Institute of Science and Technology, (Deemed to be University), Avadi, Thiruvallur. Mr. T. M. Mohamed Usman, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering delivered the welcome address and Mr. M.K.Basheer Ahamed, AP/ Civil introduced the Chief Guest Dr. K. Tamilarasan, and handed over the session to the resource person. There were all faculty members of Civil Engineering department participated in the program actively. There were 65 registered Candidates and 52 participants attended in this webinar. The resource person detailed about rendered the knowledge from the latest research insights and alternate fuel production from sea weeds.
The Program concluded with vote of thanks, delivered by Mrs. P. V. Reshma Raj, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department.
