A five day virtual mode workshop was conducted by the department of Civil Engineering from 20.09.2021 to 24.09.2021. The Dr.K. Madhan Kumar, Principal presided over the program. Mr. M. Petchikkan, HOD of Civil delivered the welcome address. Dr. M. Mrurgan, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, was the resource person. The workshop focussed on "Structural Life Assessment & Failure investigation". He detailed on the nuances to be adopted to avoid cracks in buildings and also demonstrated on the process of checking the quality of concrete after construction through video presentation. Mr. K. Mohammed Hazeeb of final year civil engineering proposed the vote of thanks. The program was co-ordinated by the faculty of civil engineering department. |
