The 2nd International Conference conducted on 10th June 2016, organized by the Departments of Mechanical and Civil Engineering, proved to be an ideal platform for academicians, research scholars, and persons from industry to present their technical papers in the recent topics and challenges in the field of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Dr. A. Haiter Lenin, HOD/Mech welcomed the gathering. Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff, Principal presided over the function and Prof. S.Abubucker, Correspondent, felicitated the gathering. Mr.S.M.S. Hameed, Managing Trustee, honoured the chief guests. Mr.R.Satheesh Raja,ASP/Mech gave a bird’s eye view about the conference. Mr.Yogesh Raja, Senior Consultant, Robert Bosch and Dr.S.C.Vetrivel, Asst. Director, Directorate of Tech., Edu., Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology, Chandigarh released the Conference Proceedings. Mrs. P.Jane Angelin, AP/Civil gave introduction to the Chief guest. Mr. Yogesh in his address said that every engineer should work with the presence of mind to tackle any difficult situation. It’s the duty of an engineer to cope with latest technology and apply techniques which are simpler, safer and faster. Dr. S.C.Vetrivel in his speech emphasized that an ideal research scholar should hone his skills, explore new ideas with dedication and share them with the mass to achieve real success. A total of hundred papers were received and forty three of them were scrutinized by the expert team for publication. Mrs. K.S. Vijayalakshmi, HOD/Civil proposed the vote of thanks. |
