Engineers Day was celebrated on 28.09.2021, the Department of Civil Engineering in association with FACEAT & P conducted a virtual program on the topic "Concrete in 21st Century". Mr. M. Petchikkan, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering welcomed the gathering.
The Principal, Dr. K. Madhan kumar presided over the function. Dr. G. Sokkanathan introduced the chief guest. The chief guest Er. M. Saravanan, State president, FACET & P, in his address demonstrated the different ways of identifying the concrete and also touched upon the methodology of assessing the strength of concrete. He also provided assurance to the students to offer career assistance from FACET & P after successful completion of their course. Mr. T. M. Mohamed Usman, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
