A National Level Technical Symposium "C-Electra" was organized by the Departments of EEE, ECE and CSE in association with the Institution of Engineers INDIA at PET Engineering College, Vallioor on 14. 03. 2025. Balaji, Department of final year ECE, welcomed the gathering. Ms. Srinidhi K, III year CSE gave a brief introduction about C- Electra. Mr. Mohamed Farith, III year AI & DS introduced the chief guest Dr. Bharathi R, to the audience. Dr. Madhan Kumar K, in his presidential address, highlighted on the technological achievements made by the country. He made a special mention of the increasing number of innovations. He reiterated on the very objective of this symposium which is to ignite and refresh the young minds.
The Principal remarked that India’s growing economy is based on the brain of young engineers. The management trustee Mr. S. Mohamed Farook, The Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen, Treasurer Mr. K. Mohamed Razak felicitated the gathering. The secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen instructed the students to be inquisitive and update one’s technical knowledge. He also said that every individual should have an urge and spirit to learn and explore which would help him to attain success.
The resource person Dr. R. Bharathi, Assistant professor, Senior grade, Department of ECE, Government college of Engineering, Nagercoil in her inaugural address highlighted on the purpose of conducting the symposium which is the platform for sharing of knowledge and collaboration of ideas. She advised the students to think innovatively and be a valuable resource for the country. She also suggested that they design and develop new products and patent them.
The resource person Dr. Bharathi received the first copy of the proceedings Several contests like paper presentation, Best Manager, circuit, and Decoding, Photography, Bug smasher, Hogwarts and other competitions were held. Altogether more than 200 students from various Institutions participated in the Symposium. The winners and runners of several contests were given prizes and certificates. Miss. Maharasi of II year, EEE Department proposed the vote of thanks. Professor Mrs. B. Shanmuga Sundari department of CSE, Professor Ms. Sree Thyanandheeswari department of ECE, Professor Mr. P. Eugine Paul department of EEE Ms. Pani Regis Livinia, AI & DS co-ordinated the program.
