The 8th International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering, Management and Applications (ICETEMA- 2K25) was held on 30th April 2025 at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. It was organized by CSE, ECE, EEE, MECH, MBA and MCA Departments. Mr.Balaji of Final Year ECE welcomed the gathering.
Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, the Principal of the college delivered the presidential address. He congratulated the staff and students for organizing the conference in a beneficial manner and asked the delegates to present their projects and to estimate their own research findings and presentation. He emphasized that such conferences ignites the young minds and enables one to pursue higher studies. Ms. G. Sivapriya, II year MBA introduced the chief guest to the audience. Dr. K. S. Kamaludeen, Managing Director, Blue Bharath Exim Pvt. Ltd, Founder & CEO, B-Accuracy Info Tech, Chennai, the chief guest for the conference. In his special address he remarked that technology is interconnected and gave an insight on the current trends in Engineering focusing on AI, and Business Intelligence. The Chief guest highlighted on the different challenges a student has to face before attaining a successful career. He also focused on the importance of skill development, knowledge acquisition, internship and project development to attain the pinnacle of success. The proceedings of the conference was released by the principal and the first copy was received by the chief guest. The different technical sessions chaired by Dr. S. Bharathi, Assistant Professor University College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Dr. Muthulakshmi, Associate Professor, V. V. College of Engineering and Dr. C. Dhayananth Jegan, Associate Professor & CoE Stella Mary's College of Engineering. The Managing Trustee Mr. S. Mohamed Farook, Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohaideen, Treasurer Mr. K. Mohamed Razak felicitated the gathering.
More than 175 papers were received and nearly 60 participants including Professors, Research Scholars and PG Students from various colleges participated in the conference and presented papers. The Principal distributed the certificates to the participants and presented the best paper award.
