The Annual Alumni General Body meeting was held at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. M. Nivas, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department welcomed the gathering. Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff, the Principal of the College delivered the presidential address. He emphasised that the graduands must take painstaking efforts to develop their skills and to shine in their career. Prof. S. Abubucker, the Correspondent of the College and National S.M.S. Hameed the Managing Trustee of the college offered felicitations.
Ms. Diana B. Rose, HR of Wipro and Mr. Muthuraj, Manager, R&D of Wheels India Pvt. Ltd. were the chief guests for the function. Ms. Diana B.Rose said that she had learned discipline, hard work, perseverance and sincerity from the institution and those good traits had helped her to succeed in life. Mr. Muthuraj said that the institution excels in bringing out the latent talents of the students and in channelizing them to reach their goals. He also said that the institution had played a pivotal role in identifying his sports talents and had paved way for him to get job in a multinational company. The other alumni of the college also took part with great enthusiasm and shared their fond memories of the alma mater by explaining the ways and means in which the institution had helped them to prosper in their career. Mrs. C. Rekha, Assistant Professor of ECE Department presented the annual report of the Alumni Association. Dr. D. Pushpa Ranjini, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department explained in detail the activities of the Alumni Meet. Mrs. A. Haseena Beevi, Assistant Professor of CSE Department proposed vote of thanks. |
