A one day workshop on "Entrepreneurship and Innovation" on career opportunity, was conducted by the department of Civil Engineering on 18.10.2022. Mr. T. M Mohamed Usman, HOD of Civil delivered the welcome address. Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, Principal of PET Engineering College presided over the program. Dr. G. Sokmanathan, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, PET Engineering College, Tirunelveli, was the resource person.
The program focused on career development as an objective theme. It was extremely an informative & thought provoking lecture. His splendid presentation emphasized on the importance of innovation and elaborated on the road map to become an entrepreneur. Both the students and faculty members appreciated and got benefited from his keynote address. Assistant Professor Mr. V. Ruban Daniel, proposed the vote of thanks. A total of 33 students attended the workshop The program was co-ordinated by the faculty of civil engineering department in association with Institutions Innovation Council (IIC).
