The 74th Independence day was celebrated at PET Engineering College, Vallioor with the spirit of Patriotic fervour. The Principal Dr. K Madhan Kumar presided over the function and unfurled the national flag. Dean, Dr. Mohammad Jahabar J, in his Independence Day message promoted everyone to reflect how freedom was envisioned by great national leaders and also touched upon the life and principles of the people's President Dr. APJ. Abdul Kalam. He also emphasized the need of to follow safety awareness during this covid-19 pandemic. Mr. Haja Mohideen, Managing Trustee, Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen, Secretary, S. M. Jamaludeen, Treasurer graced the function. The administrative officer Mr. M. Ahamed Basheer, administered the pledge. The arrangements for the program was made by Mr. Peer Mohammed Matharsha and Mr. Stalin, Assistant Professors of Mechanical department. Social distancing and other safety measures as per government norms was followed during the program. |
