The Association activities of the Department of Management Studies VETO (Visionary Executives of Tomorrow) was held on 7th March 2018 at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. S. Arul Pradeep, a second year MBA Student welcomed the gathering. Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff, the Principal of the College delivered the presidential address and inaugurated the Association activities. He cited the example of the then Chief Minister of TamilNadu Mr. Kamaraj by saying that he had his influence in initiating the construction of dams like Kothaiar and Manimuthar as he was a man of vision. Similarly the MBA students should have a vision which provides them with the ability to perform and succeed in their endeavour. Dr. R. Shanthi, Head of the Department of English was the Guest of Honour for the programme. Students from different Arts and Science Colleges comprising Tirunelveli,Tuticorin and Kanyakumari Districts attended the function and different competitions were held for the students. The Principal distributed the Prizes to the winners. The Best Performance Award was won by Shri Sankara Bagavathi Arts and Science College, Kommadikottai. Seeds of Vegetables were also to given to the participants to maintain an eco-friendly environment.
K. Kalaiarasi, a final year MBA Student thanked the gathering. Dr. S. Angel Raphella, Head MBA and the Professors of MBA Department made necessary arrangements for the programme.
