The Department of Computer Science Engineering of PET Engineering College organized a webinar on "Data Science" on 26th Aug 2022 through online mode in association with Institution's Innovation Council Cell. Shanmugadharshini of Second Year Computer Science welcomed the participants. Divya Shakthi of Third Year Computer Science introduced the Resource person Thiru. Indhuraj PR, Data Scientist (Joovence, France) to the audience . The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the program and delivered the presidential address. Dr. S. Baburengarajan Head of the Department of Computer Science gave an orientation about the program and encouraged the students to be inquisitive and make the best use of the session.
The resource person expounded on the topic data science and its various applications in the current industry. He also highlighted on the various projects and its scope in the field of Data science. Nearly 200 students and faculty participated in the webinar. Devasneha department of Computer Science proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. E. Evelyn Tabitha, AP/CSE and D. Angelin Jeyaseeli,AP/CSE co-ordinated the program under the guidance of the head of the department.
