A one day symposium was conducted by the department of Computer Science Engineering for Polytechnic students on 13.02.19. Students from various Polytechnic Colleges participated in the program. Konar Venkatesh Nambi of third year CSE delivered the welcome address. Faiza Mubeena of final year CSE detailed on the department activities. G.Jasmine of final year CSE gave an introduction about the symposium. The Head of the Department, Dr. S. Babu Rengarajan felicitated the gathering. In his felicitation he said that Polytechnic education alone will not suffice to attain esteemable position in the society. It is thus imperative to learn engineering and thus reach the zenith of success. The Principal, Dr.N.Mohamed Sheriff presided over the function. In his presidential address he emphasized that the polytechnic students will have an indepth understanding of the subject when they opt to choose Engineering. Further, he added that the Computer Science students can excel in all spheres and their opportunities are multidisciplinary. Various technical events like Project Expo, Quiz and non-technical events like Best Manager, PUBG and Treasure Hunt were conducted. This symposium served to be a podium for the exchange of innovative ideas and exhibition of the innate talents of the students. In the valedictory session the Principal Dr.N.Mohamed Sheriff honoured the prize winners and distributed the certificates. Rahmath Sanjeetha of second year CSE proposed the vote of thanks. |
