International Women's day was celebrated at PET Engineering College on 8.3.2023. The Principal in his presidential address highlighted the achievements made by women in their respective field he also emphasized on the women's theme of the current year "Accelerating Equality and Empowerment." The programme focused to honour women for their exceptional work and empower them. The special lecture focusing on Innovation and technology for gender equality was delivered by chief guest Mrs. R. Inbavani, Head Mistress, St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Uvari. In her special address she emphasized on the need for women to be innovative and empowered and she insisted the different ways the women can be empowered and successful.
Ms. S. Athiyathul Mugif, I Yr MBA delivered the welcome address, The Managing Trustee Mr. A. Shahul Hameed, The Secretary Mr. S. Kaja Mohideen and the Treasurer Mr. S. M. Jamaludeen felicitated and appreciated the selfless and indomitable spirit of women. Several cultural programmes were also held and the students enthusiastically participated and made the programme a grand success. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. T. Snowlyn Sharon, I year MBA.
The programme was conducted successfully by the coordination of the faculty of management studies.
