Dr. P. Kannan, Professor & HOD, Electronics and Communication Engineering delivered the welcome address and introduced the chief guest. Mr. M. Subramanian addressed the participants and shared the basic concepts about embedded system and its opportunities in various fields. He discussed about Real time operating systems, Embedded system development process, timing constrains, functional requirements and non-functional requirements with suitable examples. Also he explained s/w and h/w OS of Embedded systems. He gave an overview of software and core companies details that are working under embedded environment. The final year ECE students and Third year students of B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering participated in this workshop. At the end of the session students gave their feedback about the workshop. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Mrs.C.Rekha, Assistant Professor of ECE Department. |
