A one day IST - FEST' 22 for first year students was held on 15/02/2022 by the department of first year at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. Dr. S. Mookkan the first year co-ordinator delivered the welcome address. Dr. K. Madhan Kumar Principal, PET Engineering College presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his presidential address, he stressed that the students must have an inquisitive mind to do innovation in this world of advancement. Ms. Raja Sneka of first year introduced the chief guest to the audience. Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen, Secretary felicitated the gathering. Mr. A. Shaul Hameed, Managing Trustee, Mr. S. M. Jamaludeen, Treasurer graced the occasion. Mr. Vincent Jerin, Assistant Prof. of University College of Engineering was the Chief Guest and his talk centered on motivating the students. The Primary objective of the program was to shed off the inhibition and bring out the inherent talent of the students. The podium served the opportunity for the students to show their talent in light music, instrumental performance, group song, dance, also brain storming events like connexion best manager etc. The students enthralled the audience with their performance and program ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Shivasankari of first year CSE. The program was co-ordinated by the faculty of Science and Humanities. |
