In its historic mission to create globally competent engineers and technologists, PET Engineering College set yet another milestone on its 20th Graduation Day for 2021 batch students held on 8th October 2022. The Chairman, Prof. P. O. J. Lebba Popular Educational Trust presided over the function. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, welcomed the audience and gave a concise report on the activities of the institute.
The Chief guest, Dr. B. G. Sangameshwara, Vice Chancellor JSS Science & Technology University, Mysore (Former AICTE Advisor) delivered the graduation day address and presented the degree to the graduates. In his address, he delivered an enriching speech peppered with wisdom quotes from different walks of life. Initially the chief guest appreciated the efforts taken by the trust for having created successful engineers and entrepreneurs. He also applauded the growth of the institution. He emphasized that the students should believe in one self and equip themselves to face the challenges in life and contribute to future economy. He insisted that it is imperative to be innovative and groom themselves to meet the demands of development development
The Chairman Prof. P. O. J. Lebba told students to continually upgrade their knowledge and skills to remain employed in a competitive, rapidly changing technological environment. A total of 500 students from various branches B.E., M.E., MCA and MBA were conferred with degree. R. Jenifer of ECE department was honoured for securing the Seventh rank in the university. Mr. A. Shahul Hameed, Managing Trustee, Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen, the secretary, Mr. S. M. Jamaludeen, the Treasurer, Popular Educational Trust, graced the ceremony. Mrs. R. Kalaiselvi, HOD of EEE made the necessary arrangements for the program.
