The Vetripadigal programme was organized by PET Engineering College, Vallioor on 9th November 2017 for the +2 Students of Cheranmahadevi Educational District. This programme was conducted in accordance to the direction given by the Director of School Education. 1660 students from 31 Schools of the District and 75 teachers attended this programme. Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff, the Principal of the College welcomed the gathering. Mr. S. M. S. Hameed, Managing Trustee of Popular Educational Trust delivered the presidential address. Mr. A. Mohamed Jaffer, Secretary of Popular Educational Trust presented the memento to the chief guest. Dr. P. V. E. Arun Sakthikumar I.P.S, Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli was the chief guest for the programme. He said that to succeed in their endeavour, they should set up a goal and to work on it in a systematic and meticulous manner. Mr. Jeyapandi, District Educational Officer of Tirunelveli was the guest of honour for the Programme. He emphasised the importance of obedience, morality, perseverance and self-confidence to attain success in life. Prof. Anto motivated the students by saying that they should bring fame and name to their parents by their deeds. Mrs. Febila Jasmine Principal of PET College of Education felicitated the gathering.
Prof. R. Kalaiselvi, HOD of EEE Department and Prof. Allwin Joe, HOD of Mechanical Engineering Departments made necessary arrangements for the programme.
