A programme entitled ‘E-Resources- Great Boon for Research’ was held at PET Engineering College on 27th September 2016. Mr. M.H. Ahamed Reffai, Librarian welcomed the gathering. Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff, the Principal of the College delivered the presidential address. He said that reading enables a student to gain knowledge about the happenings in and around the world and equip himself with the requisite skills that are needed to face the competitive job market. Dr. Lawyed Stephen, Librarian of Noorul Islam University was the chief guest for the programme. He elucidated the ways in which the e-resources such as e-journals and research papers could be downloaded and emphasised that it would serve as a boon to the students.
