Mechons' 23 a National level technical symposium for Engineering and Polytechnic students was held on 17/02/2023 at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the event. The managing trustee Mr. A Shahul Hameed, Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen and the Treasurer Mr. S. M Jamuldeen graced the occasion. Various technical events like paper presentation, cultural events such as group dance, singing were held. To prove the prowess of the students in sports and games cricket, shuttle, carom and chess were also held and the students who excelled in it were appreciated. The program proved to be an ideal platform for the students to showcase their multifaceted talents.
Nearly 300 number of students from various colleges participated in the program. In the valedictory session, all the winners were appreciated and prizes were distributed. The overall trophy for Engineering college was won by Rohini College of Engineering and for Polytechnic it was bagged by Hi-Tech Polytechnic. The arrangements for the program was done by Mr. Mohamed Peer Matharsha, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Department and Mrs. Reshma Raj, Assistant Professor, Civil Department.
