National Youth day celebration was organized by Youth Red Cross of PET Engineering College through online mode on 12.01.2022. This day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of the great thinker and philosopher Swami Vivekanda. The youth are encouraged to instill in them the golden words of Swami Vivekanda "Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is reached".
Ms. V Abitha 1st year CSE delivered the welcome address. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the programme. Several competitions like drawing and essay writing were conducted and students actively participated in it. Mr. K. Venkatesh of 1st year ECE proposed the vote of thanks.
Mrs. Bagavathy Lekshmi Ammal, HOD/English and Mr. S. M. Mustafa Nawaz, YRC co-ordinator and AP/ECE were judges for the events. The students actively participated in the competition and E-certificates were issued to the participants. |
