PET Engineering College in association with LIONS CULB conducted an awareness program on No smoking on 25/03/22. The Principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar presided over the function. Mr. Jeya Prakash second Computer Science, delivered the welcome address. The resource person was Dr. George Thilak, Prem Hospital, Vallioor. In his address, he spoke on the ill effects of smoking and its health hazards. Also, he touched upon the adverse effects of alcoholism. Mr. M. Natesan (District Committee Chairman, Lion’s club) Mr. M. John Vincent (President, Lion’s Club, Vallioor) and Mr. M. Everest (Former president) felicitated the gathering. Mr. Alwin of Second year Computer Science proposed the vote of thanks.
