A training program for faculty in the topic "Program Outcome and Course Outcome Attainment" in NBA format was organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell, PET Engineering College, Vallioor on 11th January, 2022. The training program was given by the Resource Person, Dr. K. Arul Mozhi, Director, Vivekananda Institution of Academy, Virudhunagar and Dr. Sabarimala, Consultant, Vivekananda Institution of Academy, Virudhunagar.
Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, Principal of PET Engineering College, delivered the welcome address and introduced the trainer cum NAAC Consultant, Dr. K. Arul Mozhi, and handed over the session to the resource person. There were 60 faculty including Principal, Head of the Departments participated in the program actively. By following Covid-19 prevention protocols, 25 faculty gathered in IQAC and remaining faculty attended the program at their places. The main focus of this meeting is to train the staff members to proceed the PO CO attainment for their handled subjects and labs in the academic year 2021-22.
The resource person explained about the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and NBA he explained the excel sheet for PO-CO attainment and Direct, Indirect Assessment for PO-CO attainment to find the attainment level and he also insisted to take steps for course end survey and also to check the PO-CO attainment. |
