A five days computer training program in MS Office was conducted from 06-02-2017 to 10-02-2017 for our first year students, organized by department of Computer Application. The program started with the quirath. Dr.A.Kalai Selvi, HOD/MCA was given the welcome address. The Principal Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff presided over the function. He expressed his knowledge on computer and explained how MS Office is applicable in studies. Also he explained about the importance of computer and MS Office software in our day to day activity.
Then the session was handed over to the resource person Mr. S. Babu Renga Rajan , Professor and Head, Mrs. D. Mary Nisha, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and Mr. S. Muthu Perumal Pillai, Associate Professor handling the session. Morning theory classes were conducted in the Seminar hall and afternoon with hands-on training session was conducted in the Multimedia Lab.
Around 173 students were actively participated in the event to make it a grand success. In the Valedictory function, Easwari M of I Year CSE proposed the vote of thanks.
