The 19th Sports Day was celebrated at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. Mr. Abdullateef Sheik Uthman, the Correspondent of the College presided over the function. Dr. N. Mohammed Sheriff, the Principal of the College welcomed the gathering. The Principal accepted the salute of the students in the march past. Mr. G. Suguna Singh IPS, Assistant superintendent of police, Nanguneri was the Chief Guest for the function. He said that the students can easily achieve their ambition if they pursue their work with involvement and dedication. The Physical Director of the College Mr. A. Josua Solomon presented the annual report for the year 2016 – 2017. The students of different Branches were divided into four houses and 18 intramural games and 24 athletic events were conducted for the students. The over – all championship for sports and games was bagged by the Red House. The individual championship for girls was won by S. Rosy, a final year EEE student and the individual championship for boys was bagged by S. Praveen, a Final year MECH student. Mr. Y. R. Packiyadhas, Associate Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department proposed vote of thanks. |
