International Women’s day was celebrated at PET Engineering College on 8.3.2022. Ms. R. Gritta, I Yr MBA student delivered the welcome address. Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, Principal in his presidential address highlighted the achievements made by women in their respective field, he also emphasized on the theme of this year women's day "Break the Bias". The programme focused to honour women for their exceptional work, empower them especially the vulnerable and marginalist . The special lecture focusing on women empowerment was delivered by chief guest Dr. M. K. Aarthy, M.B.B.S, Mini Clinic Medical Officer Panagudi. Mr. Shahul Hameed the Managing Trustee, the Secretary Mr. S. Kaja Mohideen, Treasurer Mr. S. M. Jamaludeen and Dr. A. Jalal, Head of the Department appreciated the selfless and indomitable spirit of women. Several cultural programmes were also held and the students enthusiastically participated and made the programme a grand success. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. B. L. Pooja Priyadharshni, I Yr MBA student.
The programme was conducted successfully by the coordination of the faculty of Management Studies.
