The 15th Graduation Day was celebrated on 5th August 2017 with pomp and gaiety at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. Prof P. O. J. Lebba presided over the function. The Principal Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff welcomed everyone and gave a bird’s eyes view of the achievements of the students and the laurels that they had brought to the Institution. The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Quest C. Stanley George, Vice President and Head HR (South India) of Hexaware Technologies Ltd. Chennai., delivered the Graduation day address and presented the degree certificates to the students. The Cheif Guest in his address insisted that the students should always be indebted to their parents for their unconditional love and sacrifice. They should always be ready to acknowledge them with gratitude. This would lead them to reach the pinnacle of success. He also emphasized that they should be real engineers who would contribute for the benefit of the society. 400 students from various branches of B.E, B. Tech., M.E, M.B.A., and M.C.A degree courses were conferred with the degrees. Eleven Anna University rank holder were honoured by the Cheif Guest. Mr. S. M. S. Hameed, the Managing Trustee, Mr. A. Mohamed Jaffar, the Secretary, trustees, staff and students of various Departments were present during the function. The coordinator of the Graduation Day function Dr. P. Kannan made necessary arrangements for the programme. |
