The department of Computer Applications conducted a seminar of the topic “Generative AI and its Use Case” on 27/10/2023. Dr. Kalai Selvi A, HOD of Computer Applications delivered the welcome address. The Principal Dr. Madhan Kumar K presided over the program. In his presidential address he highlighted on the tremendous opportunities and avenues available in the field of AI. Ms. Firdous Fathima of second year introduced the resource person Dr. Annrose J, Associate Professor, St. Xaviers’ Catholic College, Nagercoil. Dr. Annrose J enumerated on several concepts related to AI like machine learning, artificial neural network, BigGAN, CLIP, deep learning, DALL-E etc., she also delved into the applications of AI, text to speech, text to image, text to video. The session culminated with the feedback received from numerous students. Ms. Sorna Malya of first year proposed the vote of thanks. |
