The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, conducted a webinar on “BIM for Electrical Engineering” dated 15th November 2024. The webinar was presented by Mr. G. ShojiM, Electrical Engineer,Next Engineering Consultants, UAE, Alumni (2010-2014 Batch). Nearly 60 students from Department of EEE joined the webinar. Also Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, Principal, Mrs. R. Kalai Selvi HOD/EEE and faculty members from departments of EEE participated in the webinar. Mr. G. Shoji explained that BIM's centralized model ensures seamless collaboration with architects, structural engineers, Electrical engineers and mechanical engineers, reducing conflicts between systems. He concluded that for electrical engineers, BIM is a game-changer, enhancing accuracy, collaboration, and project delivery. Students understood the knowledge of ladder diagram. |
